The Globek shoe leather is sourced from Virtuous Tanneries where hides are produced using highly sustainable, ethical and eco-friendly practices. The tannery prioritizes environmental conservation, safe working conditions and circualr production methods over mass, low cost manufacturing. In addition, TBS 1978 is member of the Leather Working Group which holds an independent audit of the tannery's energy, water and chemical usage
